    Comments:

I just got this bike today and after 2-3 hours riding it I have to say that it was totally worth it! I've never been so fast in my life before. I have to say that it felt a little weird to get used to it after a long time riding another bike, but after a few minutes it felt like it was part of my body. It is kind of pricy but you always get what you pay for, and this is absolutely an amazing bike. I would probably improve the hand grips, but other than that it is perfect, nice looking and really fast. Makes going up hills and bridges very easy. One more thing that I noticed: whenever going on a rough terrain, try to stand on the pedals, otherwise you will end up with a butt pain.

I never had pro bike and only rode $150 bikes. As soon as I started to ride Trek Wahoo 21" bike on 29" wheels, I was BLOWN away! This bike rode so well, vs all other bikes that I tried before. I was really impressed with 29'er. We weighted Wahoo at 33 pounds, I believe Marlin folk is 3 pounds lighter (if you're going for speed than you need to take off weight from bike) But overall it RODE so NICE! I did try Trek 4300 and it was OK, but Wahoo felt so much better. I heard some people like Trek 4300 and others Wahoo, so you need to come out and try it :). I loved Wahoo!

After years of riding cheap bikes I took the time to stop in to Gateway Cycle in Oak Dale Mn and had a chat with CHRIS on the show room floor. This young Man understands bikes and Schooled me fast. Picked the Yahoo 29er Disk at [$]and Gateway also offerd a 15% Discount on Add on goodies.. How could I pass this deal up,, Took it to the trail on the way back to the Getto and off we went down the Bruce Vento Trail.. Did not want to stop riding this bike! Sure there are better bikes on the market, but for a regular Guy like me, this is way more bike then I could ever Challenge. Mommy never told me about bikes like this..Hummm... Now I have to deal with the 48 Hour rule.. Have to keep this bike out of Wifes Sight for 48 hours, then its considered Vintage and I can legally tell her I had this Old Bike for Years! Thanks Chris & Bill @ Gateway Cycle!!

After years away from Mountain Biking I did a lot of searching to find the right bike before returning to the hobby. It needed to be excellent on trails, work well on roads, and be priced well-under $1K. That this one was under $600 really surprised me. After logging many miles on several of Virginia's excellent trails/roads I can say that I chose well.

Street Riding [death lane]. Very high and visible. Fast. Stops so fast, watch out for endos. Seat might be softer for us senior citizens.
